He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James 'Dutch' and Millie Miller Cruger; his son James Cruger of Poughkeepsie; his siblings, George Cruger (Carla) of Staatsburg, Caren Thomas (Ron) of Hyde Park and Jill Hess of Hyde Park; his nieces and nephews, Laura Thomas of Wappingers Falls, Cheryl Rothkranz (Ron) of Pleasant Valley, Christen Rochman (Brandin) of Fishkill and Jarrett Cruger (Ilana) of South Salem, NY; his uncles, Eugene "Critt" Crittenden of Staatsburg and James Miller Sr. of Hyde Park; his aunt Bitsy Stopski (Vic) of Poughkeepsie; and his girlfriend Caroline Weber of Hopewell Junction.
