He is survived by: his aunt Lillian; his uncle Albert; his wife Susan; his children, Austin Downey, Stephanie (John Ruhland) of Hyde Park, NY, Kevin Downey (Caitlin) of Shelburne, VT and Courtnie (Willie Porter) of High Point, NC; and his grandchildren, Connor, Carson, Cassidy Ruhland, Scarlett Downey, McKenna, Dakota, Elijah and Savannah Porter.
