He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia "Ginnie" Berge. He is survived by: his father Burton Berge; his children, Michael (Janelle), Matthew (Jamie), Jessica, Stephen and Anna; his grandsons, Mason, Carter and Liam; and his siblings, Philip (Susan), Paul (Gail) and Laurie Hagen (Scott). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
