She was predeceased by: her parents, Mickey Powell and Sue Simmons Powell; and her sister Cynthia Lavender. She is survived by: her husband Dean M. Lucarini; her brother-in-law Herb Lavender of Dallas, TX; her nieces, Sarah McAuliffe (Scott) of Austin, TX and Vanessa Kennedy (Josh) of Austin, TX; her nephew Benjamin Lavender of San Diego, CA; and her great-nephews, Stuart and Samuel McAuliffe. She is also survived by her husband's extended family and many close friends.
