He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kunkel and Patricia Kunkel. He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Tyler Kunkel (Nicole) and Jessica Nazaar (Bill); his grandchildren, Harper, Sophia Kunkel, Liam and Drew Nazaar; and his siblings, Matt, Robert and Janet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
