It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Garbowski of Hopewell Junction, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Garbowski (Popot); his sisters, Geraldine Garbowski and Kathryn Garbowski; and his father-in-law Larry Linhart. He is survived by: his father Alex Garbowski; his wife Lynn Garbowski (Martinez); his daughters, Staci (Wayne Petroskey) and Alexis (A. J. Dederick); his grandchildren, Calibur, Normandy and Shepard Dederick; his brothers, Jimmy (Patricia Garbowski), Michael Garbowski, Joseph (Stefani Garbowski) and Jerry (Judy Garbowski); his mother-in-law Laura Linhart; and his pets, Tyberius and Tallulah. He is also survived by his 10 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Johnny to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
