She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Mahoney and Mary Mahoney (Davern); her husband James R. Murphy; her grandson Michael Murphy; and her siblings, Jeremiah Mahoney and Eleanor Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Murphy (Marlene) of LaGrange, Brian Murphy of Millbrook and Maureen Travers (Steve) of Lantana, FL; her grandchildren, Brian Murphy (Erika), Meghan Murphy, Nicholas Nicoletti and Thomas Nicoletti; her granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Murphy; and her great grandchildren, Sienna, Evelyn, Thomas Murphy and Michael James Murphy Jr..
