He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ricotta and Hattie Ricotta (Levy); his wife Mary Ellen Ricotta (Skerritt); his son Joseph Ricotta; and his siblings, Tillie O'Neil, Grace Mehlrose, Edith Zanghi, Richard Ricotta and Marion Giordani.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Ricotta Palomba (Mauro) of Hopewell Junction, Danny Ricotta (Donna) of Wappingers Falls, Peggy Ricotta Langer (Greg) of Newburgh, John Ricotta (Thyra) of Los Angeles, CA and Phillip Ricotta of Hopewell Junction; his grandchildren, Michael, Courtney Florio, Anthony Ricotta, Amanda Palomba, Mauro, Katie Palomba, Larina Florio and Cory Ricotta; and his great grandchild Lenora Florio.
