He was predeceased by: his parents, Agostino Ciaccio and Mary Ciaccio (D'Agostino); his wife Katherine Ciaccio (Kay); and his siblings, Florence D'Amico, Lola Brune and Rudy Ciaccio.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Welsh (John) of Union Vale, NY and Prof. James Ciaccio (Prof. Yu-Shin Ding) of Manhattan, NY; his grandchildren, Andrea Casey (Robert Casey) of Union Vale, NY and Tom Welsh of Alpha, NJ; his great grandchild John Welsh; his sister Marie Petro of Hobe Sound, FL; his sister-in-law Rosemarie Ciaccio; and his caregivers, Cortney Spencer Chery of Verbank, NY and Cecilia of LifeWorx. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
