She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Kohler and Alice Kohler (Cooke); her husband Berniss Taft Jr.; her children, Berniss Taft III of North Carolina, Leroy Thomas of Troy, NY, Kevin Thomas of Hoosick Falls, NY, Joshua Stevens, Christine Thomas of Florida and Tonya Taft of Boston; and her siblings, Debbie Hanlon, Beverly Oakley, Rose Bogardus, Wayne, Billy, Robert and Teddy Bogardus. She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces.
