It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Thompson (Hoosick Falls, New York), who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Leonard Sr. and Marguerite Coonroadt Leonard; and her siblings, Jack Leonard and Patricia Leonard Ginder. She is survived by: her husband Franklin E. Thompson; her children, Leonard J. Thompson (Debbie) of New Ringgold, PA and Linda Thompson Sweet (Donald) of Eagle Bridge, NY.; her sister-in-law Joanne Leonard; and her grandchildren, Christopher Thompson (Nina), Matthew Thompson (Leslie), Brian Thompson (Katherine), Jennifer Sweet Kliza (Jesse) and Lisa Sweet Borden (Michael). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those that desire may make donations to "The Cemetery Fund" at Saint Patrick's Church, 17 South Park Street, Cambridge, NY 12816 in Shirley's memory.
