She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Robert Fitzgerald Sr. and Lucy E. Fitzgerald (Hicks); and her siblings, Ellen Nowalk, Evelyn Palladino, Louise Riley, Artie Fitzgerald, Danny Fitzgerald and John Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Batsford; her siblings, Robert Fitzgerald Jr. of Cortland, Isabelle Petrie of Homer and Mary Henry of Cortland; her children, Ray Shutts (Gail), Randy McKay and Brenda Shephard (Robert); and her grandchildren, Jammie Shutts, Felicia Shutts, James Webb, Nicole Webb-Dill, Samantha Shephard, Ashley McKay and Jodi Shephard. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
