He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Lola Barnes Leonard, Sr.; his wife Linda Morris Leonard; his sisters, Elsie Ferro and Nancy Smith; and his half-siblings, Robert Leonard and Vena Steele.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Gosse (Mark Cloutier) of Homer and Loren Leonard (Kelly) of Cortland; his grandchildren, Jessica Ware (Charles), Jacob Gosse and Genevieve Leonard; his siblings, Carolyn Aldrich (Garry) of McGraw, Beverly Sprouse of Cortland and Richard Leonard (Thelma Hefner) of Freeville; and his brother-in-law Salvatore Ferro of Cortland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
