He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Withey and Myrtle Ellis Withey; and his siblings, Betty Webber, Elwyn Withey and Harley Withey.

He is survived by: his wife Louise A. Withey; and his children, Marjorie L. Jenney (Richard) of Virgil, David E. Withey (Arlen) of Groton, Donald C. Withey of Cortland and Dale W. Withey (Nancy) of Homer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
