We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joseph Kubert of Highland, New York, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth L. Kubert (Dvorscak) and Edward G. Kubert; and his sister Marianne "Daisy" Kubert. He is survived by: his wife Berdine Kubert (Carta); his children, Sharon Perrins (Sascha) of Portland, OR, Kim Kubert of New York, NY and Jason Kubert (Cara) of New Paltz, NY; his brother Edward M. Kubert (Juanita) of Hometown, PA.; and his grandchildren, Madison Alexander, Wiley, Junie Perrins, Wyatt, Xavier and Felix Kubert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving in-laws, and dear family friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice (https://www.hvhospice.org), which provided compassionate and caring support for Joe during his final time in Highland, NY, or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

“Barbara and I offering deepest sympathy to Berdine and Joe’s family. I knew Joe from the many years we worked together at Silberline. Joe was a wonderful colleague, always wearing a smile and offering a new joke when you saw him. Although I lost contact with him a number of years ago! I often thought of our happy times in R&D. Many years ago I gave away my sister to Joe at there wedding but before I did I whispered please take good care of her. Well needless to say Joe did that in every way, he gave her three beautiful children. and Provided for his family very well. Joe always had a joke to tell and loved to eat s. and when you stayed over he made the best omelet RIP JOE RIP, you made this world a better place.”
