It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Giovanni Prestano (Hartsdale, New York), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Prestano and Gaetana Ferdico-Prestano; and his wife Antonina Catanese-Prestano. He is survived by: his siblings, Sam, Jean, Frances, Rose and Dominick; his children, Joseph Prestano (Amanda), Tana Cornish (Stephen) and Salvatore Prestano; his grandchildren, Kristen Benn (Patrick), John Prestano (Kelly), Kayla Cornish and Michael Prestano; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Teagan and Asher. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
