She was predeceased by: her brother Alvin Shenkman; and her granddaughter Mayra Rain Chacon. She is survived by: her husband Gary Behrendt; her children, Tom Behrendt (Lisa Kaston) of New Haven and Carol Meola (Peter) of Hartsdale, NY; her grandchildren, Jeff Meola (Krista), Jessica Perillo (Mike), Max Behrendt, Adam Garcia (Dejanira) and Emily Garcia; and her great grandchildren, Colin, Grace Perillo, Aliyah and Amelia Garcia-Munoz. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and friends.
