He was predeceased by: his parents, Duthan Ward and Helen Ward (Moote); his children, John Ward and Robin Ward Bresett; his brother James Ward; and his son-in-law Roy Rabideau.
He is survived by: his wife Janet LaFave; his children, Tammy Rabideau of Plattsburgh, Anna Seymour (Jim), Brenda Stanley (Jamie), Richard Ward Jr. (Susan), Ralph Ward (Amy) and Fowler; and his siblings, Gary Ward (Kim) and Sandra Babcock (Lester). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to his wishes and the Covid-19 Pandemic there will be no calling hours.
