He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland S. Hill and Elizabeth "Rose" Luther Hill; his wife Vivian L. Caswell; his daughter Jane Mary; and his siblings, Robert, Arthur, Clyde Hill and Laurine Rivers.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie S. Ackroyd (Edward) of Berne, N. Y., Wanda L. Hill of Harrisville, N. Y. and Harold R. Hill II of Harrisville, N. Y.; his grandchildren, Robert Peabody, Michelle Peabody Carr (Dan), Kathleen Peabody (Joe), Darrel Ackroyd (Sara) of Ballston Spa, N. Y., Wade Ackroyd of Loudonville, N. Y., Eric (Leanne Hill) of Oakboro, N. C. and Sean (Erica Hill) of Marian, N. Y.; and his great grandchildren, Hadley, Logan Ackroyd, Mariah Carr, Lucas Peabody, Casey, Hunter and Russell Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
