She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Northrop and Viola Northrop (Hiese); her husband Stanley T. Slate; her brother Elton Northrop; and her son Elmer Fred Slate.
She is survived by: her daughters, Celia (Bruce Bango), Cynthia (Stephen Davoy), Corrine Slate of Florida, Candy (David Sullivan) and Estella "Jo" (Lane Garrow). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
