He was predeceased by: his parent Stanley Carter. He is survived by: his parent Ceceila Vodek Carter; his wife Ann; his sons, David Carter and Jason Carter; and his siblings, Paul Carter (Del), Leon Carter (Sue), Elizabeth Wise (Roger) and Brenda Wiggins (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
