He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Hughes and Elizabeth Hughes; and his sister Christina (Ridge). He is survived by: his wife Bridget; his children, Dympna (Bill Doheny), Lisa (Tyler Craig), Patrick, Shiobain (Joe Cioffi) and Christina (Barry McCarthy); his grandchildren, Bryan Zampella, Ian Craig, Richie Kirwin, Shannon Hughes, Kayla Cioffi, Adam McCarthy, Sean McCarthy and Kyle McCarthy; and his great grandchild Jayden Quagliata. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law, and cousins.
