It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Maceda of Greenwood Lake, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maceda and Lily Borthwick Maceda; his wife Joan Patrice Maceda; and his siblings, John Maceda, Margaret Maceda, Anne Fortier and Monica Belber.

He is survived by: his children, Bonnie J. Cavaleri (Timothy) of Dolgeville, NY and John R. Maceda (Sharon) of Greenwood Lake, NY; his granddaughters, Victoria P. Maceda, Nicole L Murray, Jessica J Maceda and Hailee Maceda; and his siblings, Julia Willebrand, Daniel Maceda, Andrew Maceda (Carolyn), James Maceda (Shelly) and Mary Keymer.
