He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jake Davis-Barron Jr., Zethra Davis-Barron, Helen Flynn, Molly Sawtelle, Griffin Sawtelle and Nash Sawtelle; his sister Lisa Gillis (Bill); his cousins, Margaret Kinyon (Sissy) and Debbie Brophy (Pete); his siblings-in-law, Beth Charron (Ken) and Rae Davis Jr. (Leitha); his nephew Brian Davis; his great-niece Stephanie; his nieces and nephews, Olivia, Dillan and Kaitlin Akin (Jeff); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Casey, McKenzie and Bradley; his nephew Jonathan Davis (Brianna); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Asher, Jaxon and McKenna; his nieces and nephews, Jesse Lamb and Tyler Lamb; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava of Greenwich and Callihan of Greenwich; his niece Chelsea Charron of Greenfield, NY.; and also, Bella Huff and Noah.
Leo's excellence was recognized by the Capital District Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame with the Outstanding Official Award in 2019.
