It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy S. Wood of Greenville, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Oliver F. Sarnes. She is survived by: her husband George L. Wood; her daughters, Cheryl "Cherie" Wood of Delmar, Lillian Beechert (Alan) of Durham, Connie Whitbeck (Thomas) of Durham and Becky Hulbert (Scott) of Cornwallville; her grandchildren, Warrant Officer Cody Byrnes (Larissa), Kayla Byrnes (Beau) of Cairo, Myia and Kylie Hulbert of Greenville; her siblings, Ella Curry of North Ft and Kenneth Sarnes (Michelle) of New Jersey; and her siblings-in-law, Julia "Cam" Wood, Linda Richards of Spokane Valley, Maria Wood of Rensselaerville, Steven Wood of Rensselaerville, Thomas G. Wood, Walter "Buddy" Wood, Francis "Sonny" Curry, Joseph Richards and Ilene Baitsholts. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
