It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Gates of Greene, New York, who passed away on August 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gates; and his sisters, Beverly Gates and Diane Sweet. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Gates (Dotti Echols) of Syracuse and Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Rachael Gates; his daughter Laura; his son-in-law Alden Melbourne; his grandson Timothy; his brothers, Richard, Charles and Robert Gates; and also, Alex Gates, Amy Duengfelder, Adrienne and Bob Galasso. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
