He was predeceased by: his father Orest; and his sister Uli. He is survived by: his mother Irene Kociuba; his wife Leslie Kociuba; his children, Russell Kociuba (Alicia) and Lydia Kociuba (John Pauldine); his grandson Jack; and his sister Susi Robinson (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
