He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest J. Wikander and Veronica G. Wikander; his brothers, Ernest Jr. and Joseph; his wife Karen Rose; his daughter Sandra M. Sliss (Christopher); his siblings, Karen B. Wikander (Judy Mate), William Wikander (Hurdon Hastings III), Michael Wikander (Brenda), Elizabeth "Lizzie" Naylor and Veronica "Ronnie" Juliano (Jimmy); his mother-in-law Margaret Butler; his brother-in-law Bryan Liddle (Lynn Starling); and his friend John Bopp. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; many cousins.
