It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles J. Kalmbacher of Greece, New York, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kalmbacher and Mary Kalmbacher; and his in-laws, Herbert and Pearl Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sisters, Katherine Parkhurst (John) and Jayne Quick (Robb); his siblings-in-law, Gail Dodd and William Mathis (Charleen); his nieces and nephews, Kristi White (Damon), Kira Dodd (John), Kristin Munski (Michael), David Quick (Paul Allen), Charles Parkhurst (Colleen), Andrew Parkhurst (Danielle), Alex Quick and Michael Mathis (Shea); his close friend Philip Auxier; and his pet Murphy. He is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.
