She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gerald Johnston; her children, Debbie Ake, Kevin Johnston (Joyce) and Stephen Johnston (Jackie); her grandchildren, Corey Johnston (Erika), Joshua Ake (Amber), Jennifer Swanson, Ryanne Johnston, Nicole Johnston and Colin Johnston; her siblings, Donald Corey (Jean), Carol Hawkins and Marilyn Chris (Barth); her brother-in-law Ronald Johnston (Norma); and her mother Margaret. She was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
One of the biggest surprises in her life was on August 23, 2020, during the COVID pandemic, we planned a surprise 80th birthday party for mom.
