He was predeceased by: his wife Molly Fant (Pitcher); his parents, Alfred A. Fant and Marybelle Fant (Kriner); his sister Christine F. Betts; and his son Eric L. Fant.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew (Phyllis) and Emily (Andrew); his siblings, David (Pamela) and Marilyn Millard; and his grandchildren, Henry and Molly. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RocUbuntu, an interdenominational social justice ministry that Fred helped found (via checks made payable to "Messiah Lutheran Church" with a note that it is for the RocUbuntu project) or Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity.
