He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence and Eleanor Wing (Mallette); his wife Irene N. Prashaw; his daughter Patsy Wing; his sister-in-law Sue Wing; and his grandchildren, Leonia and Audrey Fuller.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph A. Wing, Frederick A. Wing, Julie A. Daniels, Carol M. Mathie, Tonya Fuller and Thomas H. Folsom; and his brothers, Thomas Wing, Ford (Pauline Wing), Michael (Zora Wing) and Leonard Wing. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donations in memory of Joe may be made to the Gouverneur VFW or the American Heart Association.
