She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoine Champagne and Naomi Lamour Champagne. She is survived by: her close friend Stagne Doura; her children, Maxime Brutus of Florida, Nathalie Brutus of New York and Melissa Doura of New York; and her cousin Gesner Champagne of Haiti.
