She was predeceased by: her father Martin Bast. She is survived by: her mother Alice Bast (Vos); her brothers, Martin Bast (Tina) and Robert Bast (Dawn); her nieces and nephews, John Bast, Rebekah Davis and Lauren Smith; and her great-nephews, Keegan Davis, Reeve Smith, Lukas Jewell, Colin Bast and Rhett Smith.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in JoAnn's name to the Goshen Christian Reformed Church, 2440 NY-17A, Goshen, NY 10924.
