He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Guarino and Jeanette Jozwicki Guarino; and his brothers, Vincent and Andrew. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Guarino (Stephen), Jeanie Kipp (Bob), Pamela Cole (Jim) and Valerie Rhodes (Dan); his grandchildren, Robert Pfleger III (Courtney), Randi Babb (Mike), Ryan Pfleger (Beth), Daniel Rhodes (Theresa), Matthew Rhodes (Adrienne), James Cole (Brittany) and Kyle Cole (Kaelyn); his great grandchildren, Gia Pfleger, Karson Rhodes, Lauren Summers, Audria and Callie Cole; and the mother of his children Carol Andersen. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
