Charles O. Velzy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles O. Velzy of Goshen, New York, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R Velzy and Ethel Velzy (Brunkow); his niece Linda J. Velzy of Haines Falls, NY; and his brother Donald H. Velzy of Truth. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn G. Velzy (Gilman); his children, C. Mark (Jeannette), Barbara H. Salg (George) and Patricia V. Beranger (Robert); his grandchildren, Chuck, Bryan, Kaitlin (Velzy), Jamie, George (Salg), Nicole, Krista and Chloe (Beranger); and his brothers, Robert A. (Joyce) and Howard E. Velzy (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Charles's name to the Alzheimers Association or St. Jude Childrens' Hospital.
