He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stipak and Josephine Tertinsky; his siblings, Frank, Mary, Matilda, John and Margaret (Joan Stipak); and his son Robert Stipak (Loretta McCarthy).
He is survived by: his wife Loretta McCarthy; his brother George Stipak; his daughters, Karen Bello, Nancy Carey, Linda Hoeffner (Philip) and Susan Candela (Joseph, Sr.); his daughter-in-law Barbara Stipak; and his stepson Joseph McCarthy. He is also survived by 5 children, 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
