In the sacred silence of farewell, Sue Ellen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon M. Hansen and Dorothy Streed Hansen; and her husband Chester E. Bates. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Beth Hansen-Chorny (Mick) of Binghamton, NY and Cynthia Hansen-Barlow (Isadore); her stepsons, Craig Bates (Ruth Ellen) of New Jersey and Blair Bates (Kathy) of Michigan; her nieces, Keely Knowles (Mark) of Texas and Patricia McNally (Allen) of North Carolina; and her nephew Corey Norton of North Carolina.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Fredonia Opera House, 9 Church St., Fredonia, NY 14063.
