She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Nichols and Mary Nichols (Kanoza). She is survived by: her children, Brenda McKelvey (Chris) of Fredonia and Leroy Kolpien of Gowanda, N. Y.; her grandsons, Benjamin, Elijah and Samuel McKelvey; her siblings, David Nichols (Delilah) of Westfield, N. Y., Steven Nichols of Tennessee and Debra McCracken of Erie; and her husband James Kolpien. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
