She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Thompson and Nettie Thompson (Greene); her son-in-law Jeffrey George; her sister-in-law Sue Thompson (Patricia); and her grandsons, Derek George and Carl Saunders.
She is survived by: her husband Gorman Saunders; her children, Debora Tobio (Dave) of Fredonia, Sharon Brown of Fredonia, Karen George of Fredonia and Steven Saunders (Beverly) of Port Charlotte, Florida; and her brother Leon Thompson of Forestville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
