She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Messina and Archangel Messina (Capitano) of Dunkirk; and her siblings, Mary Ann Hagaman of Jacksonville, FL and Samuel Messina (Carolee) of Niagara Falls, NY.. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Mike" Raynor of Fredonia; her former husband David Symans of Dunkirk; her children, Julie Jeleniewski (Gary) of Grayslake, IL, Michael Symans (Sarah) of Clifton Park, NY and Brenda Symans of Dunkirk; her grandchildren, Grace, Noah, Jonah, Jane Jeleniewski, Megan, Emily, Andrew Symans, Tannen Olson and Michelle Borrello; her great grandchildren, Matteo, Dontae and Giovanni Chimera; and her nieces and nephews, Angela Quaranta (Marcello), Kimberly Kuster (Michael), Kevin Lindquist and Michael Messina (Michele). She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
