It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Shepard (Fredonia, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Winifred Odes; his children, Michael and Allyson; his grandchildren, Meredith, Finnegan and Mark; his great grandchild Adrian; his brother Robert H. Shepard; and his stepbrother Richard Shepard.
A memorial gathering will be announced in the months to come, once COVID recedes.
The family asks that donations in Doug's name be made to the Darwin R. Barker Historical Museum or the Fredonia Opera House.
