He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Briggs (Hart); his children, Cindy Jo Briggs-Rodgers (Jonathan) of South Salem, NY, Ronald William Briggs of Forestville, NY, Kelley Jean Briggs of Matamoras, PA and Beth Ann Briggs of Brewster, NY; his granddaughters, Rachel J. Rodgers of New York, NY and Kate A. Rodgers of South Salem, NY; and his sisters, Kareen Briggs Simmons (late William) and Sebring. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
