She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Earl King and Margaret Whaley King; and her brother Leonard Joseph King. She is survived by: her husband Robert Carpenter; her children, Anne Fox and Jeanne Etu (Brian Etu, Patrick); her sister-in-law Lois King; her grandchildren, Sara McDaniel (Hampton, Kristie Moon), Tara Fox, Erin Gibb (Kevin, Shaun Etu), Emily Carpenter and Bridget Carpenter; and her great grandchildren, Noah McDaniel, Cole McDaniel, Quinn McDaniel, Trevor Moon and Ben Etu. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
