He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland V. and Eva Sumner Sr. (Barker); his son Mark Sumner; and his siblings, Frances Wright (Bradley), Roland Jr (Peg) and Douglas Sumner (Mary).
He is survived by: his significant other Carole Lundgren; his children, Cathy Bowe, Harry Mumblo and Matt Sumner (Mary Kay); his daughter-in-law Linda Sumner; and his brother Sterling "Porky" Sumner (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
