Peter B. DuPré Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter B. DuPré (Fairport, New York), born in Ogdensburg, New York, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Catherine; his wife Jane (Szelag); his siblings, Jane, Paul (Molly), David and Thomas (Anna); and his stepbrother Don Johnson (Kathy).
He is survived by: his children, Michael, James (Peggy), Robert (Karen), Pierre (Beth) and Mary Ann; his grandchildren, Megan, Katie (Bradley), Eric (Isabella), Michael (Priscilla) and Lisa (Rob); and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Lilly, Josh, Sierra, Selena, Michael, Jr. and Pete.
Representing the Greatest Generation, Pete was selected to receive the Luke's Wings Influencer Award at their April 2020 Gala in Washington, D. C., which unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic.
It was during this time, that Harmonica Pete was introduced to The Greatest Generation Foundation (#TGGF, http://www.tggf.org).
