She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Nelson and Charles Nelson; and her husband John "Jack" Hammerle. She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Maurer (Tom) of Pittsford, NY and Jane Shaffer of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
