We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2021, John Halabuda (Fairport, New York), born in Watervliet, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Halabuda to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Halabuda and Helen Halabuda; and his siblings, Anne Margiasso, Mary Whitney, Evelyn DeWire, Max Halabuda, Stephen Halabuda, Parasceva Halabuda and Catherine Whitten.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Halabuda (Licata); his children, Lori Vossler (Thomas) of Buffalo, NY, Susan West (Jonathan) of Fairport and Andrew Halabuda of Canandaigua; and his grandchildren, Andrew Halabuda, Matthew, Samantha West, Victoria, Hillary and Brigitte Vossler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

To my sisters & I, he was always the Uncle we could visit for when we needed new shoes at the old Denby's store in downtown Troy, NY. He would always have a geat smile, measure our feet & off we'd go with our favorite pr. of shoes for Easter or any other dress up occasion. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. De”
