He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Slentz (Dick) and Ruth Welch Slentz; and his siblings, Jacob, Josephine Calhoun and Elizabeth Holdridge.
He is survived by: his wife Kristen Burkhart; his children, James (Hannah Kohl) of Brighton and Emily (Michael Lum) of Macedon; his sister Barbara Wheeldon of West Winfield; and his cousin Michael Holdridge of Huntingdon, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
