He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy III and William H. Tibbs III; his grandparents, Dr. John Joe and Mathenia "Emma" Chandler; his great-grandparents, John Henry and Mattie Coffey; his sibling Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity; his wife Emma Marie Tibbs; his son William Henry Tibbs V (Gloria) of Kernersville, NC; his grandchildren, Celia Marie Tibbs and William Henry Tibbs VI; his brothers, John R. Tibbs (Dianne) of Peekskill, NY and Joe C. Tibbs (Ruth) of Owasso, Oklahoma; and his niece Barbara Evans of Elmsford, NY. He was also cherished by his father, both brothers, son, grandson, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
